TESSA VONDERHAARDIRECTOR/EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Tessa is a director, actor, comedian, and producer residing in Los Angeles. She hails from the Midwest where she went to intercity schools and learned to laugh and story-tell through the eccentric characters of her dysfunctional, yet loving, family. Tessa loves exploring the complexity of human nature through film and believes there is no better platform to affect the world with. Like any well-behaved Midwestern girl, she began training classically and received a BFA in Musical Theatre. Shortly after, she found her true love-- comedy. Training and performing at Second City Hollywood, she got her start directing and writing. You may have seen her acting in front of the camera on Showtime's Shameless, ABC's The Middle, seen her in films such as Followed (Timur Bekmambetov), or heard her voicing a character in Netflix’s Motown Magic. Tessa has since embarked on her career behind the camera. She began helping behind the scene and pseudo directing several comically dark web series and discovered her passion for directing. Tessa makes her directorial debut in film with Wolf. |
